Persepolis – It was the Ceremonial Capital of Achaemenid Empire. Situated near the modern city of Shiraz in Fars Province was declared a World Heritage site by UNESCO in 1979.
Yazd Air Ventilation Towers – Yazd is known as Sahr-e-Badgirha(The City of Wind catchers). The Wind towers are four or eight sided and vents on roofs trap the wind and cool the rooms below.
