Special Cover – Muzhappilangad Beach, Kerapex 2012 – By India Post

Muzhappilangad beach is one of the longest beaches of Kerala. It is only drive-in beach of India which makes it unique from all other beaches not only in Kerala but also in India.

Shores of the beach being lined up with blank boulders protect it from the lashing waves, also making it a natural shallow place. One can enjoy swimming in this natural shallow pool of water without having to fear the powerful currents. Another nearby attraction is the lovely Dharmadan Island which is just a meters away from the shore. Visiting this island would be just an experience of the true beauty of untouched nature.
