France -Singapore Joint Issue -Fashion -2013

To mark the twentieth anniversary of diplomatic relations between the Republic of Latvia and Georgia, Solvita Aboltiņa, Speaker of the Saeima (Latvian Parliament) and Teimuraz Janjalia, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia in the Republic of Latvia, opened the presentation dedicated to the joint stamp issue of the two countries designed in honor of this event. The presentation of the new stamp was held on March 28, 2014 at the Grand Vestibule of the Saeima, Riga.
The new stamp has been designed by the Georgian artist Georg Kartvelishvili and it depicts the significant symbols of independence of the two nations: the Freedom Monument in Riga, the capital of Latvia, and the Mother of Georgia Statue in Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia.
March 11, 1993 is regarded as the date of establishment of the diplomatic relations between Latvia and Georgia. The joint stamp issue of the two countries was initiated by the Embassy of Georgia in 2013, and the concept of the new stamp was presented at the Saeima last year.

Mexico – India Joint Issue 2010 –FDC with Miniature Sheet
A Miniature sheet containing two stamps isuued by Mexico as a Joint issue in 2010 . The stamps show Jarabe Tapatio Dance of Mexico and Kalbelia Dance of India. A FDC was issued by Mexico on 09 Dec 2010. India also issued two stamps with same theme on 15 Dec 2010.
Stamps on Nobel Peace Prize Winners – Belgium & Sweden Joint issue
Belgium and Sweden brought a joint issue of stamps on Nobel Peace Prize Winners of 1909 and 1913. Both belonged to Belgium.
Auguste Marie Francois Beernaert (1829-1912) was 14th Prime Minister of Belgium from 1884 t0 1894. He later represented Belgium at hague Conventions. He was awarded the Nobel Prize for Peace in 1909 for his work at The Permanent Court of Arbitration.
Henri La Fontaine (1854-1953) was a Belgian International lawyer and President of International Peace Bureau. He was awarded the Nobel Prize for Peace in 1913.
All four stamps issued on 30 Sep 1999 and Belgian stamps also marked 150 years of Belgian Post and Bruphila 99 exhibition.

Sheet Let – India Israel – Joint Issue – By India Post
Diplomatic relations between India and Israel were established in the year 1992. A set of two stamps is being issued by both the countries to mark the completion of twenty years of diplomatic relations. The stamp depict the two festivals of lights, Deepavali and Hanukkah.
Theme of the stamps is “Festival of Lights” Israel’s stamp features the menorah with the word “Zion” inscribed inside a magen david star, and India’s shows a row of lamps, representing the Indian holiday of Deepavali.The menorah featured on the stamp was inspired by the wooden menorah used by the Jewish community in Bombay, India.
Themed on the “festival of lights”, one stamp depicts the Jewish festival of Hannukah with a row of candles. The other, depicting the Hindu festival of Diwali, features diyas.
Israel and India established full diplomatic relations in 1992. Israel opened its embassy in New Delhi in February, although it operated at a somewhat limited capacity.The friendly ties between these two countries have flourished ever since and currently include agricultural cooperation, joint scientific and technological development, water management collaboration, thriving trade and more.

Mexico – India – Joint Issue:- India and Mexico, both vibrant and pluralistic democracies, established diplomatic relations in 1950 and completed 60 years. To commemorate the completion of 60 years of diplomatic relations, a Miniature sheet of two stamps was released by Mexico depicting the Kalbelia dance of Rajasthan, India and Jarabe Tapatio, National dance of Mexico.
