The Butterflies’ species on stamps are Aglais urticae (also called small tortoseshell butterfly)  – 14p, Maculinea arion (also called Large Blue butterfly ) – 18p ,Inachis io (also called Peacock Butterfly ) -22p and Carterocephalus palaemon ( also called chequered skipper butterfly ) – 25p.
