David Feldman SA – Two exciting auctions on Friday March 4 in New York

At 10:00 AM New York time, we offer an outstanding array of World Rarities and Important Collections.

David Feldman has established a worldwide reputation for its semi-annual auctions of Rarities of the World in Geneva, Switzerland. Offering great items and important collections from Aden to Zanzibar, Arctic to Scouting to Olympics, and choice classics from every area of the globe, the auctions have been a great success. Following the lead of our Geneva branch, the sister company based in New York now holds its first auction of the same type.

David Feldman SA together with David Feldman USA are the holders of world records such as the highest price ever achieved for a philatelic item, and the highest price ever for a stamp. Concentrating in the high end of the stamp market, we maintain the record of selling more Grand Prix and Large Gold Medal exhibit collections than any company in the history of philately. In June 2009, Linn’s Stamp News reported that David Feldman has set 13 of the top 25 auction results ever, more than all other auction houses combined!

The World Rarities auction has a wide array of impressive consignments including USA stamps and postal history, Latin America and European classics.

At 2:00 PM New York time, we offer the greatest British North America auction in the history of philately; the Warren Wilkinson Collections of New Brunswick and Nova Scotia and the Joseph Hackmey FRPSL Collection of Canada.

The Wilkinson collections of New Brunswick and Nova Scotia are simply the best ever formed as Mr. Wilkinson, with consultation from expert Charles G. Firby, acquired the best pieces of postal history extant. Combining these great collections with Joseph Hackmey’s collection of Canada postal history, which consists of the best of the best covers from the Wilkinson Canada collection that was sold at public auction in 2007, has produced the greatest British North America auction in the history of philately. This is certainly another impressive auction in the prestigious cap of David Feldman.

All lots can be viewed at our websites www.davidfeldman.com and www.davidfeldmanusa.com. Those who wish to bid live during the auction are directed to www.davidfeldmanusa.com/index.php?page=live-bidding
