Birds on stamps
A commercially used FDC from Singapore showing eight stamps on Birds. There are more than 350 species of birds in Singapore. Of the Eight birds shown on stamps , five are residents, two are Northern migrants and one is Tropical non-breeding ,nomadic visitor. Each of the birds represent a different avian family highlighting the astonishing range of native birds present in Singapore.

Special cover – Philatelic exhibition on Post Office
Two Special covers were released on Philatelic Exhibition on Post Office on 14 & 15 Oct 2008. The covers were issued by Karnataka Postal Circle. The First cover shows a 1849 miniature letter showing Bangalore /1849 Feb 1/Paid.

The second cover shows a post card and cancellation on War Fund Mysore State. Special Mysore War Fund Stamps , Picture Post Cards and exhibition Post Cards were issued in 1917 with a view to raise funds for Red Cross Funds.

First Day Cover – Butterflies
A First day cover with Four stamps on Butterflies issued by Great Britain on 13 May 1981. The Butterflies’ species on stamps are Aglais urticae (also called small tortoseshell butterfly) – 14p, Maculinea arion (also called Large Blue butterfly ) - 18p ,Inachis io (also called Peacock Butterfly ) -22p and Carterocephalus palaemon ( also called chequered skipper butterfly ) - 25p
