India Postal History – Cancellations An inland letter with 15paise stamp and a cancellation/ postmark reading ” EXPTL. S.O.” on Top of circular postmark and “TN- 781 ” at bottom of circular postmark. It was used between Madurai and Thanjavur districts of Tamil Nadu on 18- 3 -74.

India Postal History – Cancellations A one and a half anna Inland letter which has a peculiar cancellation dated 01 Jan 1955. The round postmark has Trivandrum Sorting on Top and Morning on bottom .
