The events scheduled and held today were

- Release of  Flown Covers

- Release of Gujarat Special Cover

Release of  Flown Covers – Covers Flown from Allahabad to Naini were being sold for Rs 1000 with Autographed cover costing Rs 5000/-.

Release of Gujarat Special Cover – Special Cover – Khushboo Gujarat KI was released today and was available from India Post Counters.

Passport – Passport was issued today  and a large number of visitors  and Collectors were seen pasting stamps and getting cancellations done from Foreign Postal Administration stalls . These stalls had good sales as minimum cost of stamps for Passport varied from Rs 20 to Rs 50 whereas you could get Indian Stamp worth Rs 5/- cancelled on Passport.

GANDHI KHADI -     The Miniature sheet with the Folder was available today for Rs 250/-

Personalised Stamp The stamps were in Demand the queues were large but all those who were lucky to book it in the morning could possibly get it  by evening only. By evening it was routine rush for this item.

Stamps on 100 Years of Airmail. Stamps  were available today  . Miniature sheets not yet seen in INDIPEX 2011 venue.

Stalls at Exhibition Complex – Stalls of Dealers and Foreign Philatelic Postal Departments were buzzing with activity. INDIPEX Stamps /Miniature sheets/Covers  issued by USA, Germany  were seen in the Postal Counters. Some stalls were yet to be opened.

Exhibits – The hall where Exhibits were displayed was buzzing with some activity, which seemed to be an Irony .

Activity Hall – Children were given special Key Chains as Gifts.

A Miniature sheet with Four stamps was released on 12 Feb 2011 to mark the 100Years of Airmail.

History was created on February 18, 1911 when henri Piquet took off in a Humber Biplane from the right bank of the Yamuna at Allahabad crossing over to the left bank and dropped a mail bag containing 6500 letters and Post Cards at Naini Railway Station. India thus became the first country in the world to fly air mails.
