A stamp issued on  Golden Jubilee of Cadet College  Hasan Abdal , Pakistan (1954- 2004 ). Cadet College Hasan Abdal is a residential High School  located in Hasan Abdal , Attock District, Punjab Pakistan. It was started by Government of Punjab ,Pakistan at the inititive of Gen Ayub Khan  originally to serve as feeder institution to Services Academies of Pakistan.It prepares the Boys for secondary and Intermediate level exams like ‘A’ and “O” level.

A new type of alignment mark has been seen along with Traffic Lights on stamps printed at ISP, Nashik.  NINETEEN (19) Issues of 2009  were issued with this  new type of alignment mark. The Tenth  Issue of 2010 with this TL mark is Cathedral & John Connon School , Mumbai issue. (stamp no 30 with this type alignment mark)

Old Type – one horizontal line ,one vertical line  cutting the horizontal at 90* to divide into four quadrants and a circle in Centre.

New Type -  A square divided into four quadrants by one horizontal and vertical line intersecting and a smaller square inside which is totally shaded black.

The School at RAJKOT where Gandhiji studied from Standard I to VII during the Years 1880 to 1887 was Known as Alfred High School and its foundation was laid on 17 Oct 1853. The name of the school was later changed to Mohandas Gandhi Vidyalaya on 02 Oct 1971.

A Permanent  Pictorial Cancellation was introduced at Rajkot Post Office on 16 Feb 1977. A Post card with Pictorial Cancellation on Alfred high School is shown.

A Special cover was released in Trichy , Tamil Nadu on 27 Jan 2010 to mark the  All India Postal Kabaddi Tournament , Tamil Nadu which was held in Trichy. The Design of Cover was approved by CPMG  , Tamil Nadu Circle , Chennai.
