News Update – India – Rs 1000 Coins As per News reports in the Press The Indian Parliament has permitted the Government to mint coins of Rs 1000 denomination. The Coinage Bill 2009 was passed by Upper House Of Parliament on 11 Aug 2011 which will pave way for this.
