Special Cover -Golden Jubilee Celebration-Rabindra Bharati University – By India Post

It was the decision of the Tagore Birth Anniversary Committe in 1961 that an university in the name of Rabindranath will be established and housed at Jorasanko Tagore House which happens to be the place of cultural pilgrimage. Thus the Rabindra Bharati University was founded in 1962 to disseminate Rabindranath’s philosophy, ideals throughout the universe and already completed 50 years of its journey.
