A 20c stamp was issued by USA on 30 June 1982 to commemorate 50 Years of International Peace Garden.

The International Peace Garden is located in the state of North Dakota and the province of Manitoba, Canada  and symbolizes the harmony in which the two nations live along the longest unfortified boundary in the world. The gardens, located in the Turtle Mountains, consist of more than 2,300 acres.
