Special Cover – India – Clock Tower Ludhiana

Clock Tower at Ludhiana was inaugurated on 18 Oct 1906 as Victoria Memorial Clock Tower by the then Lt Governor Of Punjab Charles Montgomery alongwith Deewan Tek Chand the Deputy Commissioner Ludhiana. Its name was Changed to Bhagwan Mahavir Clock Tower during the Chief Ministership of Giani Zail Singh. it is still Popularly Known as Ghanta Ghar.

A Special cover was issued on 18 Oct 1976 during LUPEX 76 on this Clock Tower.
