Mr. M.G PITTIE passed away. It is a shocking news for philately world and great loss to Indian philately , my sincere condolence to all his family members.

I was shocked to learn only today of the passing of my dear friend, M. G. Pittle, whom I have known since my days as visiting professor at Osmania Medical College 1961-1963.
We had been out of touch for the past two years because I lost his mailing address and he may have lost mine.
