A Pictorial Cancellation on “Siddha Chakra” was introduced at Palitana Post Office (Gujarat) 0n 03 Jul 1992.
Palitana in Bhavnagar District of Gujarat is one of the important Pilgrimage centres of Jains in India. There are almost 863 Temples on Shatrunjaya Hills in Palitana . The Main temple on top of hill is dedicated to Ist Tirthankar Lord Adinath (Rishabdeva).
“Siddha Chakra ” is asymbol of Jainism . It denotes 5 stages of achievements of realization of Soul as per Jain Philosophy.These five stages are Padhyay , Acharya , Dixa , Arihant and Siddha.
The cancellation shows the “Siddha Chakra”.
