News – Our Experience of Philatelic Bureau at Lucknow
We had recently carried a news item on Conditions prevailing at Ambala and Vadodara Philatelic Bureau . A Large number of readers have written in to us , spoken to us , mailed to us congratulating us on taking the lead on projecting such issues .
Our Correspondent visited the recently concluded Calicut Coins Exhibition where India Post had established a stall . We File this report for the benefit of our readers.
On 19th, 20 & 21 st Feb 10, Calicut Numismatic Society conducted an exhibition of coins in Calicut.The show was well managed and currency notes, coins and stamps with details with every exhibit were displayed .The committee members were very friendly and everything was looked after properly upto the minutest details.Even rooms were booked in advance by Mr Balu Vasudevan for dealers and visiting collectors.
There was a stall by India Post Calicut . All the products were displayed which were for sale. Mr Murli of the India Post who managed the Counter was very co-operative and gave all the required items . The collectors were extremely happy as the Staff ensured availability of some items from their stock and ensured items were replenished on Priority. Overall a great experience for all collectors.
