FDC – Belgium – Nobel Prize Winners

Belgium issued a stamp on 14 Feb 1987 to honour Corneille Jean Francois Heymans who won the Nobel Prize for Physiology or Medicine in 1938 . He had done pioneering work in showing how Blood Pressure and Oxygen content of the blood are measured by the body and transmitted to the Brain.
