The House in Porbandar where Gandhiji was born is now called “Keerti Mandir “. Porbandar was also believed to be the Birth Place of Sudama – Friend of Lord Krishna and was known as Sudamapuri.
A Pictorial Cancellation was introduced at Porbandar H O from 18 Apr 1992 showing the House where Gandhiji was Born. A Post Card with cancellation is shown.
