News – Our Experience of Philatelic Bureau at Lucknow
We had recently carried a news item on Conditions prevailing at Ambala and Vadodara Philatelic Bureau . A Large number of readers have written in to us , spoken to us , mailed to us congratulating us on taking the lead on projecting such issues .
We made a visit to Lucknow and take this opportunity to Congratulate the Staff manning the Philatelic Bureau. The staff was Polite , Well Mannered and Genuinely helpful to Philatelists and Customers. The Management at Lucknow GPO need to be Complimented for this difference in attitude and nature of Postal Staff. They made an endeavour to sort out all our Queries and assisted us . The stock was available for sale but we wish to bring to the notice Of INDIA POST authorities that a large number of recent Stamps, Miniature sheets , Sheetlets , FDC’s and Brochures are yet to arrive in Lucknow Philatelic Bureau. In case they are made available on Priority it will earn a Good Name as also Satisfaction level among Philatelists will increase Multifold. HOPE THE AUTHORITIES WILL LOOK INTO THIS ALSO.
