West Delhi Philatelic Club- Highlights of Meeting held on 10 Jan 2010
The Meeting was held on 10 Jan 2010 and 22 Members attended the meeting. It was great to see a lively and vibrant congregation of Philatelists which is a rare sight in Delhi philatelic Circles.
Informative talk by President An informative talk on Indipex 2011 was given by the President Sh Vinod Sabharwal after wishing everybody including new members A Happy New Year which was well received and appreciated.Also a presentation on how to make a one frame exhibit should be made discussed among the members.
Talk by Mr Banga He gave a talk on the participation of West Delhi Philatelic Club in Stampmania 2009 at Vadodara,Hobby Festival in Delhi, Activities , Members Contribution.The next meeting date was announced 14th March 2010 keeping in view of exams in the month of February & March 2010.
Experience Of Delhi Philatelist at Stampmania 2009 – Members Mr.A.R.C.Shah, Mr.Shasipal,Mr.Udai Saxena, Mr.R.K.Bhatia,Mr Banga & Mr Sabharwal share their experience at Vadodara exhibition with other members.
Special covers for Members at NO PROFIT NO LOSS Special covers were offered to members at no extra cost to members as part of endeavour to provide best services to members.
Exchange Of Philatelic Material: The Spare Philatelic Materials/exchange was conducted for the benefit of members and it turned out to be very beneficial to the collectors wanting to improve /add to their collections.
The event culminated with a Lunch organized at the Venue.
