PNC – Ireland – Coins on Stamps
Ireland adopted the EURO from 01 Jan 2002. A PNC (Phila Numismatic Cover ) was released on 01 Jan 2002. Three stamps were also released to show transition of Irish Currency.
57 cent stamp shows one Penny coin of 1928-1971
41 cent stamp shows 50 Pence coin of 1971 – 2001
38 cent stamp shows One Euro Coin introduced on 01 Jan 2002.
The Cover also has One Euro Coin released on 01 Jan 2002. A total of 7000 such covers were issued.
