West Delhi Philatelic Club- Highlights of Meeting held on 06 Dec 2009
The Meeting was held on 06 Dec 2009 and 26 Members attended the meeting. It was great to see a lively and vibrant congregation of Philatelists which is a rare sight in Delhi philatelic Circles.
Informative talk by President An informative talk was given by the President Sh Vinod Sabharwal on Role of Office Bearers and Role of members in an organization which was well received and appreciated.
Talk by Mr Banga He gave a talk on the Functioning of The Club in General , Activities , Members Contribution and the Forthcoming Stamp mania 2009 exhibition.
Stampmania 2009 – Mr. Banga (Stall no 18) and Mr. ARC Shah (Stall no 31 ) will be available to represent West Delhi Philatelic Club . All persons desirous of becoming a part of this growing family are most welcome to contact them for details and Membership forms etc. COME AND JOIN THE LEADERS TO PROMOTE THE HOBBY.
Special covers for Members at NO PROFIT NO LOSS Special covers were offered to members at no extra cost to members as part of endeavour to provide best services to members.
Hobby Festival It is planned to organize a Hobby Festival in Delhi shortly. The details are being worked out and shall be made known shortly.
Exchange Of Philatelic Material: The Spare Philatelic Materials/exchange was conducted for the benefit of members and it turned out to be very beneficial to the collectors wanting to improve /add to their collections.
The event culminated with a Lunch organized at the Venue.
