British India-King Edward VII Post Card

British India

The King Edward VII card was issued on 24th April 1922. The international postcard rate was increased to one and half annas and an emergency or provisional issue was released using existing obsolete one Anna cards stocks surcharged with the figures one and half in black. Size 139 X 89mm. The small surcharge has been noted as an essay has been seen commercially used. This small surcharge card is rare.
