Customized Envelopes-December 1,2001,The first customized envelope was issued for World Computer Literacy Day sponsored by NIIT,New Delhi.It was released by then Mr.Pramod Mahajan,Minister Of IT & Communication at New Delhi.
As per the terms and conditions Postage impression will not have 1.Denomination 2.Logo of the Company 3.Name of the Country,in Hindi or English 4.Any prohibited item.Pl.Note First customized envelope-NIIT did have country name India.
Security Features:-
1.India Post logo visible only under ultra violet light below the impression of the postage.2.Each envelope will have a unique code number starting with CE then the order no.,year of printing,followed by company code and finally the serial number.
These covers were sold to the sponsered and were not given to the philatelist.
